Expansion of a facility for refueling public transport trains with hydrogen in Hesse
Infraserv GmbH & Co. Höchst KG in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, has taken over the refueling of 27 hydrogen trains for public transport for the state of Hesse. To this end, Infraserv GmbH & Co. Höchst KG operates one of the largest PEM electrolysis plants in Germany in Frankfurt. Infraserv GmbH & Co. Höchst KG needs additional hydrogen capacity for its refueling infrastructure. The plant we are planning for this purpose is mainly put into operation when the existing hydrogen production plant is under maintenance and also serves as an “emergency unit”. The plant went into operation for the first time in December 2022 and produces hydrogen in 5.0 quality.
